A small experiment - Testing out creating a level editor with autotiling, saving, loading, and a test suite all in one. 

Editor Controls:
Left click - place tiles / select in GUI
Right click - erase tiles
Middle click and drag - move the map

Tester Controls:
A/D - move player
Spacebar - Hold to start charging the jump, let go to jump
Releasing spacebar while holding A/D keys will jump to that direction

Well.. really good, mechanics with a jump charge have not yet appeared in classic platforms. One small issue: don’t use ASCII emoticons instead of icons on buttons, this is a dead-end option, if only because for some they may not be displayed.

That's a good point, didn't think about that for the ASCII. Not developing this further at the moment but will keep that in mind for any other projects. :)
